How to pay:
Our order form offers 3 ways of paying for your order:
1. You can pay us by sending us a cheque. This method is being rapidly superseded by other methods of payment because of its complexity. Also, the costs of using this method are quite high. You will be likely to be charged a fee by your bank to make out an international cheque in Euros, and our bank charges us to cash it. This is why we unfortunately have to make you a surcharge of 9.80 Euro.
2. You can pay by transferring your payment in Euros into our account. If you do so giving the international banking details on the order form, there is only a small surcharge, of which we pay half (this is why you specify "SHA" - shared costs). In the near future, payments within the EU will be dealt with as national payments, i.e. no additional charges will be made for EU transfers.
3. Far the easiest way of making international payments is by paying by credit card. Conversion to Euros is free, and you will be allowed the international banking exchange rate, which is more advantageous to you because it averages the "buy/sell" rates you would normally pay. Sending credit card details by fax or post is fully guaranteed and safe for the credit card holder (most credit card companies even guarantee internet payments made through httpS-sites nowadays). We currently accept Visa payments, and in due time we will have our internet shop up and running and customers can order directly from the Equilibris website, using all major credit cards.
4. If the above methods of payment do not suit your requirements, your own bookshop can order Equilibris publications at the local price/currency rate and tax regulations when a book is on the market. We regret it is in this case not possible to benefit from any Equilibris special offers.
